As part of the celebration, the Bend Public Public Works Department will host an open house on Wednesday, May 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with fun for the entire family. The open house will be held at 575 NE 15th Street in Bend.rnrnActivities will include:rn rn• Interactive displaysrn• Equipment demonstrationsrn• Live Musicrn• Conservation and pollution prevention giveaways • Elementary school tours beginning at 9:10 am • Painted snowplows by Bear Creek Elementary School students • Private vendor displays including a helicopter servicernrnVisitors will see displays and demonstrations about the many services provided by the City of Bend Public Works Department, including snow and ice control, water resources, sewer maintenance, and stormwater pollution prevention. Jake’s Diner’s Sixth Annual Race Night |

On Wednesday, May 23rd, Jake’s Diner will be holding it’s sixth annual Race Night BBQ.
Dragsters from Madras drags and Circle track cars from Madras Speedway will join with local cruisers for a big car show in Jake’s parking lot. Madras Drags and Madras Speedway officials will be on hand to answer questions regarding their upcoming season.
Jake’s will be holding one of it’s famous BBQ’s starting at 5:30
