CAST “Catch a Special Thrill”
Sunday, July 8, 2012, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Prineville State Park, near Prineville, Oregon.
We are in our 14th year and focus on special needs and terminal ill children. We'd like to establish this event as a public service project promoting environmental education and cold water fishing.
This event is for children with physical/developmental disabilities, or terminal illnesses.
ages 7-16 (Anyone fishing with a participant needs to provide their own fishing license). A barbecue lunch, prepared by the Kiwanis Club of Prineville will be ready for hungry anglers following the fishing activities.
Sponsors: C.A.S.T. National, Central Oregon B.A.S.S. Federation, Kiwanis Club of Prineville, U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, PN Regional Office and Bend Field Office.
